Previously known as Barossa Gateway, the Top Drop Motel is located on Kalimna Road, 2 km north of Nuriootpa town centre at the entrance of Murray Street and just off of Sturt Highway.

The Motel has been under new management since May 2005 during which a substantial refurbishment has taken place.

Top Drop Motel has got 23 rooms - 18 on ground level and 5 economy upstairs room.
It is affiliated with the Budget chain and has a AAA Tourism accreditation of three stars.
In an expensive area for accommodation (Barossa has got almost 40 B&B's with charges from $150 and up per night) the Top Drop has got the lowest tariffs for rooms with ensuites.

This is a floorplan of the motel. It is not to scale and only shows the room configuration. Note that all rooms can be considered as Single rooms. The Floor plan also shows the location of the guest laundry and the car park for the economy rooms and busses.

The Motel is located 5 minutes from several cellar doors (among them Wolf Blass).
Tours can be organised to many points of interest.
Motel check-out time is 10am, unless previously arranged with the management.
Reception Hours are between 8am - 9pm. For after hours arrivals there is a door bell.
